DISTRICLIMA is an international showcase of good practices in urban and environmental matters as well as a reference for the ENGIE Group. On May 23 we received the visit of representatives of the Public Administration of Aix Marseille Provence, accompanied by our colleagues from ENGIE Cofely and Aix en Provence Energies Environnement (subsidiary of ENGIE), to whom we have presented the so-called "Barcelona model” and how the DISTRICLIMA network has been gestated and developed throughout these years responding to the needs of the city and always with the vision of public-private collaboration. The exchange of experiences is always enriching and the practices developed in Barcelona were already an object of interest for Marseille, which today also has its own district heating and cooling network.
