DISTRICLIMA keeps on growing ... recently there has been signed the new contract for the heating & cooling supply in the student residence that will be inaugurated next spring at the Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in the Diagonal-Besòs area.

It is an equipment of more than 6,000 m², structured in eight floors and conceived around a central open space, a landscaped patio that allows the entrance of natural light. The building will be built according to Passive House energy efficiency standards, a set of rigorous measures to reduce environmental impact, such as the double orientation of the rooms, which allows a beneficial cross ventilation, or the connection to DISTRICLIMA itself.

The students of the UPC already enjoy the air conditioning of DISTRICLIMA in 3 buildings of the campus, being the residence the fourth equipment of the area that will be connected to our network.
